Distributed Systems Research Group DSRG for teaching and scientific purposes has at its disposal 3 computer laboratories professionally equipped with the highest class devices of the electronic market leaders (SUN Microsystems, Cisco, etc.)

The laboratories present 5 profiles:

	Distributed System Laboratory
	Laboratory adapted to practical classes with a use of terminals and utilized for introducing students the issues of distributed systems and environments of their implementation.
	Networking Laboratory
	Separated part of main laboratory with dedicated distribution cabinet and training positions for setting various experimental network configurations together.
	Multimedia Laboratory
	The laboratory presenting selected issues of multimedia technologies, equipped with devices for processing and sending audio and video streams.
	Network Security Laboratory
	The new laboratory planned to be open soon. It will enable studying both fundamental problems and advanced techniques of managing the network security.
	Mobile System Laboratory
	The laboratory that will be soon available for needs of studying issues of wireless communication, mobile technologies and usage of robots.

The laboratories are used during various study courses: Distributed systems, Implementation Environments of Network Services, Computer networks, Multimedia systems and soon also: Software engineering of distributed systems, Mobile systems.
