Computer Networks Laboratory

The computer networks laboratory is allocated as a part of the distributed systems laboratory (214, C2 building). Two distribution cabinets with Cisco network equipment and tables with configuration consoles and computers for tests are located here. The basic networking course introduces principles of construction of local and wide area networks, including:
- network elements,
- issues of topology, constructions and wiring of the network,
- switching basics,
- creating of virtual networks,
- routing techniques.

The Regional Cisco Academy operating at KI AGH is also located here. The network equipment makes it possible to carry out exercises in the field of not only CCNA but also CCNP.
